The TCM has torque limiting values that need to be dealt with and that is included in the tuning process. Project vehicles include sand rails, classic cars, hot-rods, offroad trucks and pretty much anything that gets trailered. We will disable any DTC’s to avoid the Check Engine Light and tune it for maximum power and drivability. Some vehicles will be tuned with speed density only, and some will be tuned using the factory MAF sensor. Automatic transmission vehicles require additional time tuning to set up the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to control the transmission correctly.
